Abstract:  The spatial point data is aggregated by the State of Colorado Governor's Office of Information Technology Geospatial Information Systems Team. This dataset represents an on-going relationship between the counties, municipalities and the State of Colorado to provide accurate updated address information. Updates are collected annually. This data layer reflects an evolving data model of the Colorado State Address Dataset (CSAD).

Purpose: This spatial dataset represents standardized address point locations for structures provided by county, municipal and regional governments.

Measure description: The data has not been checked for topology errors, and would opt to not resolve them if errors were found. For various liability purposes, the state will not edit the geometry of any address features that are submitted for the annual data call; this could cause misrepresentation of address data and confusion for the public and land owners. Topology is therefore not checked and features are simply aggregated and migrated to the state's attribute schema.
